When you deal direct with an insurance company, you are dealing with an employee of the insurer, so anything you tell them is telling the insurance company. When you deal with an agent, they only deal with one insurance company, so they it is essentially the same as dealing direct with the insurance company. We work for you, so our duty of privacy is to you, not the insurance company. Our brokerage and the insurance brokerage industry have a solid track record of respecting your right to privacy and safeguarding your personal information. As a result of federal legislation, we’ve further strengthened our privacy commitment by informing you of why and how we collect, use and disclose your personal information.
